This Sunday at Bohunt Horsham between 9am-2pm a group of local volunteers will be handing out kits on behalf of DKMS UK, the UK's largest bone marrow donor register, to get people to register as bone marrow donors.
The drive at Bohunt is one of 15 simultaneous drives across the UK led by mothers whose children have faced or are facing leukaemia.
Anyone aged between 17-55 can swab to become a donor. It takes around 15 minutes and could save a child's life.
The group are also particularly passionate about increasing the representation of all different communities to ensure we have wide coverage to support children in need.
90% of donors who are called upon contribute do so through a simple blood donation method which can literally save a child's life.
